Jumpsuit for Business

Who says you can't be comfy in an office? I initially bought this super soft and comfy jumpsuit for leasurely weekend outings, but one day decided to style it up for a business meeting. Not only it looked good, but I felt confident and comfortable while wearing it. Try it out, ladies. You'll thank me later ;)

Overalls in Lincoln

I was going to share these photos with you last week, but I have been in bed for the past several days unable to move, breathe or think straight because of the nasty flu virus I caught :( Thank you so much for being incredibly sweet and supportive on my socials, your comments always make my day! But without further ado, here is my second editorial with Lincoln Navigator 2015, that I previously featured here. This time I felt like combining denim overalls and white details in a sexy and playful look to complement a big luxe SUV.

Dreaming of the Weekend

It's mid-week and therefore a perfect time to start planning the weekend. Some of my weekends are planned, some are spontaneous, but this one in particular is going to be crazy! Besides my exciting day on Sunday, I definitely know that I'll be relaxing on Saturday in this cool sweatshirt from Ily Couture. Not only it's stylish, but it's also incredibly soft! I even want to sleep in it. Hope you have exciting weekend plans ;)

Transitioning to Fall

Fall is right around the corner and I slowly transition my wardrobe into the new season. Over the weekend I donated three huge bags of my old clothes to Goodwill and I am ready to restock my wardrobe with fall items. Apparently, this season I am into brown leather (faux leather of course!) - how much more "fall" can it be? ;) Picked up the leather skirt at Zara and styled it with uber-elegant top combo from Topshop. And the key piece of the look, to my mind, is my colorblock tote from Culture Riot! So spacious and so "fall"!
And the most exciting news now! Tomorrow I'll be in New York and will start "reporting live" from New York Fashion Week. I am so excited to attend it this year again (last year's adventures are here) and I am so grateful for your support, without which I wouldn't be there! Follow my Instagram adventures on @byDianaMarks and the next blog post will definitely be about New York ;)

Skinny Boyfriends and Gosling

I'd like to start this post by saying thank you so much for your support on my latest post. Your words of encouragement gave me reassurance that I am moving in the right direction. I am so grateful for each and every one of you! My first non-fashion post is still cooking ( is there a hint here?!:) ), so for now we are back to outfits!
I am usually not a big fan of light denim, but these boyfriend jeans from Target made me change my mind. They are actually called skinny boyfriend jeans, because they are not as lose at the bottom as regular boyfriends would be. That, plus 90s inspired wash and relaxed low rise fit made me absolutely fall in love with them. Styled them with a dreamy tee from ASOS and simple shopping tote.
What about you, do you prefer light or dark denim?

Sheer Bowknot

When I wore this outfit the other day I felt like a million bucks and even forgot for a second that my look is way lower than $100 total! How cool is that? You walk on Rodeo Drive and get stopped by women wearing head-to-toe Versace asking you where you got that skirt (which is ridiculously affordable, click here to see for yourselves!). I guess the point is knowing where to shop and not telling anyone :) But since I really love you guys I will reveal my secret spot (don't tell anyone else though ;)) - it's ChicWish! Versatile, feminine and affordable fashion is just one click away!
As for accessories, I have the opposite philosophy. I don't believe in multiple cheap bracelets hanging on your hands and making you sound like a gypsy. I prefer a one time statement piece that can be worn on multiple occasions and always look sophisticated (not flashy!) with any set you wear. This Siren Cuff with Amethyst stones from Monica Vinader is definitely that one piece that will say it all - the stones, the gold and the irregular shape of it make it a unique way of expressing your personality.

Orange and Blue

I love styling sweatpants in a classy way, especially if they are as awesome as these ones from W Concept. Orange details called for more of orange in the whole look (which I added with the top and the clutch) and contrast light blue jacket definitely added elegance to the outfit. But the finishing touch, and perhaps the most important piece, was the ring from Nineteen Pieces. As you know I am not such a big fan of accessories, that's why if I wear them, it has to be something very special and unique. This ring immediately caught my attention, because I could complete the whole look with just one accessory, which is very affordable and cool.

Trendy

Obsessing with these color block pants from DKNY. I wear them with flats and heels and each time the outfit comes out very different. This time I styled the pants with this cool tee from Zara (my recent find!) and my new Proenza Schouler - it was time for me to get one! :) Hope everyone had a lovely holiday weekend!

Cut Out Shoulders

I love this beautiful velvet top from Salsit - cut out shoulders add chic to the sophisticated burgundy turtleneck. It definitely has to stand out in the outfit, so I paired the top with white pants and neon pumps.

Orange Coat

Can a cheap coat look like it's worth hundreds of dollars? I think it definitely can ;) Check out SheInside for affordable chic clothing like this coat.

Flashback Friday: Leather and Sweatpants at NYFW

I found this look from NYFW that I haven't shared with you yet. I decided to combine something that might sound a little weird: leather and sweatpants. But nevertheless, this was one of my most successful looks at NYFW, I literally got stopped by street style photographers every 5 seconds.

Like a Man

This was one of my looks I wore at New York Fashion Week - not my typical style, but I enjoy a challenge once in a while ;) While street style photographers found it interesting, it also caught attention of some people when I was walking on the streets on New York after the shows. Even though it's inspired by male fashion, I still find it feminine and classy.

Warm Weekend in LA

Since this is the first year I am wearing cropped tops, I decided to take the most out of them and still use the warm weather as an opportunity to wear another one - this time a fun white  top from PersunMall. Still obsessed with this super affordable and incredibly cute skirt from ASOS.

New York Fashion Week Day 1

New York has been crazy so far. Lots of events and shows, very little sleep, lots of heels and most importantly lots of photographs taken =) I am excited and happy to attend New York Fashion Week for the first time. I will take you on an exciting journey of my days here and will highlight the most memorable moments. So here is Day 1, which was probably the busiest full of amazing events and incredible memories.
The first look of the day was total Zara (yes, it always saves us when we don't know what to wear =)) with a beautiful envelope clutch from Givenchy.

White on White

It's incredibly hot in LA these days and there is no better color to wear than white. I created a little of the sixties vibe by adding these fun sunnies from Topshop.

From Another Galaxy

Sometimes just a pair of fun print leggings and a lose top is enough. Throw on some heels and jewelry for a more feminine look and voila - your outfit is complete. Happy Monday!

Back to Monochrome

No matter what colors or styles I experiment with I find myself going back to monochrome. It's so versatile and classic that I think I will never get bored or tired of it.

London Style

I was very excited to find these checkered pants and crop sweater at Zara - they remind me of Topshop so much. I don't know why, but this outfit made me feel like a true London girl. Even though I hardly saw any people dressed like this while living there, for some reason this is exactly how I envision London style - crop tops, skinny pants and leather booties.
Sunglasses: Ray-Ban. Sweater: Zara (cute option here). Belt: Ferragamo. Pants: Zara. Boots: ShoeMint. Bag via PersunMall. Bracelet: Forever 21.
