Overalls in Lincoln
I was going to share these photos with you last week, but I have been in bed for the past several days unable to move, breathe or think straight because of the nasty flu virus I caught :( Thank you so much for being incredibly sweet and supportive on my socials, your comments always make my day! But without further ado, here is my second editorial with Lincoln Navigator 2015, that I previously featured here. This time I felt like combining denim overalls and white details in a sexy and playful look to complement a big luxe SUV.

Preppy in my new Mercedes
If you follow me on my socials, you might already know that I got a new car a few days ago and I finally wanted to show it to you properly. The car is a Mercedes Benz C300 4W in elegant black color. I am a huge believer in a car being the extension of one's personality and style. It doesn't mean that everybody has to rush to the nearest expensive car dealer and get a loan to pay off whatever their value their personality at. And we all know that everyone values themselves at least as a Ferrari :) But that's not what I mean... It goes beyond the make of the car. You can tell a lot about the person by the way they treat it, the color they choose and the way they behave in it. I chose a Mercedes because I am a longtime fan of the brand (in no way I am stating that it's a better or worse car than any other), I like their design and most importantly this particular model, that fits my personality and style: sleek, elegant and classy. The day I got the car I wore a preppy look, that apparently already matched my car without even knowing which one I'll get :) Tell me about the "law of attraction" :)
On a side note, I know I have been teasing you for the past half a year with a potential change in the blog structure and I have been analyzing, testing and thinking a lot about the direction I want to take. I think I finally have an idea of a slow transition and expansion, that you'll notice gradually.
As for my life, I think I am getting older, wiser and more appreciative of what I have. That's why I am always grateful to you guys for following along and being patient with my posts. Thanks for appreciating quality over quantity and always giving me your feedback.

All Black in Beverly Hills
For the past few months I have been really on and off with my posting schedule, as you might have noticed, but I've been really active on my socials and I am pleased to inform that we are almost at 400K social fans across all my networks. It's a big achievement for me and I am very grateful for your support. Even though I haven't been posting here much, you still stayed with me and I am very grateful for it! Your comments always make my day and your support on socials in unbelievable! THANK YOU so much! I wish I could thank each and every one of you personally! Every once in a while I put together a little box of gifts for my most active readers and supporters and February is going to be another month of little thank-you gifting :) Thanks for being with me and following along my journey.
I am in the process of figuring out what direction I want to take with my blog, so the posts are infrequent but I still try to stick to the highest quality possible. Please follow along via email (subscription box on the right) so that you can never miss my new posts.
As for today's look, I just found these photos that I shot back at the very beginning of the month and forgot to share with you guys. Sometimes when it's cold (I mean "LA" cold) all I need is a total black look and my warm and stylish Marants :)

Home Away From Home - The Empire Hotel
September is almost over. I honestly believe there is some secret force that makes the months go by so fast that you feel like you fell asleep at the beginning and woke up at the end of the month but you only slept a few hours.. Looking back at September, which is always the busiest month, I feel very happy and grateful for my experiences, the highlight of which was definitely New York Fashion Week. Not only I enjoy the fashion week itself, but going to New York is already exciting enough :)
I always have these mixed feelings towards New York - I love and hate it at the same time. It makes me angry, happy, encouraged and disappointed - kind of an emotional roller coaster. But the only feeling the stays the same is the warm feeling that I get when I arrive at my "home away from home" - The Empire Hotel. Last year I gave you a sneak peak of my hotel room, and this year I am taking you to the rooftop where I snapped a few shots right before it started raining on my last day in NYC. That day was full of meetings so I went for a cool black and white look with my favorite wedge converse that I can't get enough of.

Future Perfect
If you are my regular reader, you might know that I am a huge fan of Edward Roth New York (as seen here and here), so naturally I could not not wear it while in NY especially at fashion week. I am dying over their carefully crafted fabrics and artistic prints, but when I saw this jacket I was stunned. The futuristic design with perfectly sculpted shoulder details highlights the body and transforms you into another sleeker time. And all of that in pastel pink? I am sold! If I could, I'd wear it every day not only because I love it that much, but I also love the effect it has on people while wearing it - everyone is sort of fascinated and amazed at the same time - it's truly magical!
In terms of styling, I used the jacket as my statement piece and chose neutral black color for the rest of the look. And since it was fashion week, I just had to spice it up with my neon pink heels from Saint Laurent which I wore for a few shows before switching to my furry and more comfy Dolce Gabbana booties.

Remembering Cannes
This is one of the looks I wore for a casual yet stylish walk in Cannes last month - a simple dress from For Love and Lemons (that literally goes with anything!) and comfy flats with my fave Proenza.

Sneakers Obsession
Ever since I discovered Twins for Peace I just can't get enough of their sneakers! These are another addition to my ever growing collection in checked pattern and leather material. Styled them with Club Monaco crop pants (ON SALE here) and a blouse from Sandro.

One Dress Three Ways
I love a dress that I can style for many different occasions and this one from Target is another one of those. I absolutely love how it goes from casual to elegant with the right accessories.
I am also excited to announce my partnership with Cosmic Cart, the universal shopping cart for the web. Cosmic Cart lets you buy items from multiple retailers without having to leave my site! When you see the Cosmic Cart icon in photos, just click it to shop the look. It's that simple!
So for the fist look I turned the dress into a skirt by wearing a crop top and a wide belt to make the transition from top to bottom smoother. This outfit is a perfect elegant look for a day full of meetings.

Denim Jumpsuit and Hair Secrets
Most of you have probably seen this look on my Instagram last week. Nothing to add here: the denim jumpsuit from Joe's Jeans is so trendy and hip (and so versatile!) that even adding only one color to the look made it already awesome :) By the way, it looks equally good with nothing on top and a pair of cool flats ;)
But let's talk more about my hair. I get asked all sorts of questions about my hair and here is a little insight into my styling routine.
First, I should state that my hair is very fine and thin, and therefore pretty hard to style. On top of that, if I leave my hair to dry naturally after I wash them, I will look like I went partying to a rock concert for three days in a row.
It's extremely crucial for me not only to have a good quality styler, but also to ALWAYS have it on me! I can't go one day (not even talking about traveling!) without a styler, otherwise my hair will be a mess and I won't be able to leave the house for public safety reasons :)
I tried many brands (some worked better than others), but recently I got to work with ghd and try out their new ghd ECLIPSE styler. The idea is that it styles faster with less heat! Saving time and less damage to the hair? I could definitely benefit from that! I never straighten my hair completely, I just style it in a desired shape and direction, so ghd is a perfect choice since it works so fast and so effectively.

Feminine Edge
This floral romper from Lulus is a very feminine garment. I can totally see myself wearing it with a pair of heels on a summer date. However, this time I edged it up a little with lace-up booties from Marc Fisher, Wayfarers and my Proenza. The look immediately became casual cool. What do you think of this combo?

Trendy
Obsessing with these color block pants from DKNY. I wear them with flats and heels and each time the outfit comes out very different. This time I styled the pants with this cool tee from Zara (my recent find!) and my new Proenza Schouler - it was time for me to get one! :) Hope everyone had a lovely holiday weekend!
