On the streets of New York..

While back in New York I had a chance to collaborate with the incredible photographer Jamie Mann on a few street style photos. I absolutely love his work and was super excited and even a little nervous for this shoot. Jamie utilizes the lighting, the perspective, the time of the day, the location and the outfit itself so skillfully that you don't even notice how much hard work and experience goes into what seems like an effortless snap of the camera. He is a true professional and a breeze to work with. The results speak for themselves!
You might have already recognized my favorite Edward Roth jacket (yes, I wore the same jacket in two different colors, pink one here). Love how the boots and the jacket match in color and designer  accessories complete this luxury look - true elegance with a futuristic note.

Future Perfect

If you are my regular reader, you might know that I am a huge fan of Edward Roth New York (as seen here and here), so naturally I could not not wear it while in NY especially at fashion week. I am dying over their carefully crafted fabrics and artistic prints, but when I saw this jacket I was stunned. The futuristic design with perfectly sculpted shoulder details highlights the body and transforms you into another sleeker time. And all of that in pastel pink? I am sold! If I could, I'd wear it every day not only because I love it that much, but I also love the effect it has on people while wearing it - everyone is sort of fascinated and amazed at the same time - it's truly magical!
In terms of styling, I used the jacket as my statement piece and chose neutral black color for the rest of the look. And since it was fashion week, I just had to spice it up with my neon pink heels from Saint Laurent which I wore for a few shows before switching to my furry and more comfy Dolce Gabbana booties.

Art Meets Fashion: Edward Roth New York

You might remember how I was raving about Edward Roth New York during Fashion Week last year, so here I am obsessing over it again. This time it is their new art piece "Myth and Grace" - no, you can't call this item just a dress, it truly IS a work of ART (like all garments Edward Roth has to offer). The beautiful color palette, interesting combination of materials (leather and silk?) and artistic imagery makes Edward Roth NY not only stand out, but be the most unique, fashion forward and exquisite brand there is. Happy Easter!

The Empire Hotel, Fashion Week and Edward Roth

I loved staying at the Empire Hotel during New York Fashion Week. It was right in the middle of all the action, literally steps away from the Lincoln Center (no cab required!) and had the best parties on the rooftop. One of them was the RewardStyle party - the coolest part was getting there: get out the hotel room, take the elevator and ... you are there =)
On a side note, I found my new favorite brand! Edward Roth is a luxury brand that connects art and fashion together! All their art is licensed and impossible to copy which makes you feel like a million bucks when wearing their unique and fashion forward clothing!
I felt so lucky to wear their exclusive and incredibly beautiful dresses during the Fashion Week - I never got that many compliments on my outfits as when I wore Edward Roth!
Be sure to check out their new store (or shall I say gallery?=)) in Soho, New York!

Fashion Week Continues...

My days are all mixed up at the moment. I don't remember what was yesterday and what I have planned for tomorrow. I am definitely enjoying lots of events and exciting collections. On the downside, I barely sleep, eat once a day and change around 4 times a day =) Imagine how much time I spend thinking what to wear! Here is a short recap of the most exciting events recently.
Let's start with the most relaxing so far - a lovely Sunday brunch with PAVAN on the beautiful rooftop of the Refinery Hotel. I wore a feminine and incredibly pretty dress from Club Monaco, which seemed to be a perfect choice for a Sunday afternoon. Added this cute thin necklace from Wild Butterfly Boutique to keep the feminine vibe. Even the Pavan sangria (which is absolutely delicious and refreshing, by the way) matches my look =) By the way, check out Pavan's Facebook Sweepstakes - very exciting!
