So I know I am a little behind, so expect a crazy overload of NYFW blog posts in the near future :) Here is day 2 report of my NYFW. No matter how many shows I saw that day (honestly, I don't even remember already :) ), August Getty definitely stood out. Stunning cutout dresses and minimalistic monochromatic designs (not to mention perfect looking models with their perfectly straight hair) left me speechless, but nothing had a bigger impression on me than this dress...it's incredible!
Now, that I cleared the most exciting news, let me share my outfit details with you. Last year, fashion week destroyed my feet (I am sure hundreds of other girls had the same problem) because running from show to show in giant heels for 10-12 hours straight isn't very pleasant (not to mentioned by the end of the day all those gorgeously dressed ladies start limping). This fashion season I decided to give my feet a break and switch heels with comfy wedge converse on some of the days. It has worked perfectly well so far. I am still able to create cool looks and I have no #myfeethurt problem whatsoever :) So one of the "converse" looks was on my day 2, when I wore total Sandro look in green velvet.
The perfect accessory (apart from my color matching backpack) were my reflective sunnies from Marissa Collections. By the way, you can still enter Oscar de la Renta sunglasses giveaway here.
The other notable shows of the day were Gustavo Carvalho with interesting prints and silky crop tops...
...and Nicole Miller, which I wash't able to capture properly unfortunately, so here is just a peek.
Stay tuned for day 3 and have a great week!
Sunglasses: Oliver Peoples via Marissa Collections. T-shirt: Sandro. Skirt: Sandro. Backpack: Sandro. Shoes: Converse.
You look amazing! I think this look is perfect for NYFW-it's chic, but comfortable--a must in my book. It looks like you are having an incredible, if busy, time. I can't wait to see more fashion week posts, it's my favorite time of the year!
