Stay Balanced with Michelob ULTRA

Let me start this post by saying that I am not the biggest beer fan by any means. Reason is that beer is one of the most calorie packed alcohol beverages out there. But these days I am leaning more towards a specific product - Michelob ULTRA!
Did you know that this premium fitness beer brand is only 95 calories and 2.6 carbs per bottle? When I found out, I was so excited. Now I don't have to sacrifice all those hours at the gym for a little chill time. Refreshing and light, Michelob ULTRA is for those who want to have it all (and don't we all? ) - stay fit, lead an active lifestyle and still be able to have some great social time. Balance is what I strive for in life, and Michelob ULTRA is all about it, especially the concept of no dieting, but heaving a steady "diet" of friends, fitness, and occasionally laughing a little too hard.
It was the perfect way to relax and unwind upon arrival to Pismo Beach on my recent road trip - makes it so much easier to stay on track with my diet and calorie intake, even when I am travelling.
Check out their super awesome Michelob ULTRA 95k Experience Sweepstakes, where you can win tons of awesome prizes NOW!

Transition Easy with tasc Performance

This post is sponsored by tasc Performance but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.
I love the fact that fitness clothing is becoming more fashion friendly, and we can easily transition outfits from yoga to working out to hanging with friends these days. And tasc Performance is taking it to a whole other level with their innovative and comfortable performance lifestyle clothing, and they start with their fabrics! Their fabric blends are sustainable, chemical-free and derived from the highest quality natural sources, including bamboo, merino wool and organic cotton. When I wore this outfit I didn't want to take it off! I started the day with a light workout at the park, and transitioned it to a chill brunch + a beach bike ride with friends. tasc fabrics deliver the luxuriously soft feel paired with natural moisture-wicking, UPF 50+ sun protection and odor resistance without sacrificing style. They have the cutest styles and colors! Check out their performance wear HERE. AND USE A 20% OFF code experiencebamboo

Soft Skin and Healthy Body

This week I partnered up with Flywheel and Vaseline for an exciting opportunity. I got a chance to attend the popular cycling studio Flywheel in LA yesterday. Normally, I am not that much into cycling classes, but I might reconsider my preferences after visiting Flywheel. The upbeat music, dark room and constant movement made me feel like I am in a club, only it was a healthy version of it :) I was half dancing, half cycling and definitely got my blood moving. It's a great cardio workout for people like me, who don't move much.
After the class I got a chance to try out and take home Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturizer, which I used all over my body after the much needed shower. I usually don't use any body lotions because I can't stand feeling sticky or greasy after I just cleaned myself. In so many years I never found one that I could use regularly. But Vaseline definitely made a difference. It took me seconds to dry after my initial application, and the skin instantly felt smooth and moisturized. A very convenient 360 degree application made the process super fast, which is extremely important to me. I absolutely loved the experience and I will definitely be using the product for a while now. Finally a body lotion I can use regularly! Have you tried it?

My Secrets Spilled

As you know, I have partnered with Skinny Cow this month for an exciting "What's My Secret" Campaign. Skinny Cow encouraged me to share my secrets of a good and easy life and I have quite a few. Today I want to talk about taking time for yourself.
In the 21st century we are always on-the-go, always connected and always working (not to mention motherhood, which is a 24/7 lifetime commitment that I admire, but am yet to experience) , we have less and less time for ourselves, and some of us don't even know when and how to put ourselves first any more. My secret is just about that. No matter how busy I am, or what's going on in my life, I try to squeeze in a short walk (even 20 minutes a day and even if it means that I have to cancel something in my schedule) to relax, unwind and recharge. I put on my stylish workout clothes and go for a walk around my neighborhood. I try to choose different routes depending on the day. Sometimes, I choose the park if I am looking for peace and relaxation, other times I wander through the residential area of my neighborhood exploring beautiful houses for distraction and creativity. And one of my favorite routes is the Golden Triangle of Beverly Hills, which is a grid of small commercial streets filled with shops and restaurants. At the center of it is the famous, always sunny and clean, Rodeo drive, which I absolutely love to explore for inspiration and motivation. I love doing window shopping and watching stylish locals mixed with tourists from all over the world and their beautiful cars passing by. I also like taking some light treats with me for an extra boost of endorphins. Luckily, Skinny Cow, offers a great choice for such occasions. They have a wide variety of ice creams, iced coffees and candies. My favorite is the Iced Coffee (love the Mocha flavor!) - it's easy to carry and is a great mid-afternoon pick-me-up! Share your secret tips on Twitter with the hashtag #SkinnyCowSecret. Direct your message to @TheSkinnyCow for a chance to receive a sweet treat (coupon). More details HERE.

How to Stay in Shape in Style

I am very far from being in a perfect shape, but I get so many compliments from you that I start believing that I am getting closer :) Maybe I should thank my love of smoothies or my obsession with Beverly Hills based class Physique57 (those who want a free class check out my Twitter). But fact is, I don't thrive to be in a perfect shape (oh, those "embrace your body shape" punch lines). Not that I would mind it, but my main objective of working out and making responsible food choices is to stay healthy and strong.
And of course, the biggest motivation to go to the gym (apart from staying healthy and keeping fit) is pretty colorful workout clothes that you get to wear. I don't think I'd ever be ok with the amount of bright colors in my outfit as much as I am, when I am going to the gym =) Complement the look with a matching or a contrast bag. Mine is from Punchdrunk Panda! Isn't it the cutest bag ever? =) Not only it's affordable on it's own, but you can also take advantage of a 15% discount, just because you read my blog ;) Use the code "PDPxDIANA15at checkout =) Stay Healthy and Happy Sunday!
