Day 5 of New York Fashion Week

So I've been back in LA for a couple of days now, but it already seems like New York Fashion Week was just a dream. I can't believe that just a week ago I was running around New York trying to catch all the shows I was invited to. Here is my look that I wore on day 5 of New York Fashion Week.
I combined this unbelievably cute purple skirt from TBagsLosAngeles and black blouse from Rails. I didn't have any appropriate belt for this look, so I came up with an idea of using my Gucci foulard scarf as a belt and finished the look with a statement Zara clutch. By the way, I am obsessed with these mirrored sunglasses from Carrera. They were my go-to sunnies during the whole Fashion Week.

Day 5 was very busy, but as usual I will only highlight the most exciting and interesting events. My favorite show of the day was Falguni & Shane Peacock. Not only did I sit just a few rows away from Giuliana Rancic and Paris Hilton (which was already exciting enough!), but I also got to see one of the most interesting collections of the whole fashion week. The looks, white hair and black lips clearly gave off robotic and futuristic vibe. Every single look came out interesting and unique and it's great to see more of the purple color on the runway.
Concept Korea featured four designers, which were part of the "Main Concept Korea" category. They were all unique in their own way, yet kept a colorful and even edgy aspect of the Korean culture.
Last show of the day was Libertine - loved their awesome prints!
This will probably conclude highlights of my favorite shows and events during this New York Fashion Week. I am sure, that you all checked out the incredible Michael Kors, Kate Spade, J.Crew, Lacoste, Herve Ledger, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein on the web and other blogs, so there is no need for me to repeat how amazing they were. I think I was so excited that I loved everything I saw =)
Sunglasses: Carrera. Blouse: Rails. Foulard used as belt: Gucci. Skirt: TBagsLosAngeles. Clutch: Zara. Booties: ASOS.

  13. Funny, just yesterday I used my Burberry scarf as a belt. I like using scaves as belts, because the patterns and colours can really make an outfit! I love your outfit, the colours and the shapes they make!
