I got a lot of complaints from my readers regarding black background so I finally listened to your requests and changed it. However, I miss the glamourous black look of my blog. So this question is to my regular readers: which design do you prefer?
P.S. Thanks to all who shared their opinions. I really appreciate the conribution of each and every one of you.

ReplyDeleteI personally always go for black/dark backgrounds too as it's more glamourous but white is a cleaner minimalistic look

Black is interesting, but it tires the eyes. It is easier to look at the pictures and read text on white background. Keep the white!

When I started blogging, I had a dark grey background and I ended up changing it as well. I guess it's part of growing up - we have to change something once in a while! It will look strange to you at first, but I'm sure you'll come to love it!

ReplyDeleteFirst, I love that the restaurant is called Rock Sugar because I happen to LOVE rock sugar and put it in my tea A LOT. Second, I have almost the exact same cast iron tea pot! Third, I prefer the black. The white is rather... stark. Is there any way you could do black & white stripes? Maybe toss in a stripe or two of Tiffany blue (or whatever accent color you love)?

I know black is more elegant and all but white does look so tidy and clean don't you think? =) In the end, it's all about what you really like. That matters most =)

Великолепный десерт! Очень красивые фотографии! Всегда получаешь хорошее настроение и позитивный взгляд! Бесспорно в черном цвете смотрелось все очень гламурно и очень красиво выглядели фотографии, но наступил другой момент - сейчас белый цвет. и конечно, все немного по-другому и тоже очень красиво и ясно. Имеет место быть. Нравится!

I think you should stick to the black if you love it.
ReplyDeleteI have two other friends that are bloggers too and they both have black backgrounds.
With a little tweaking, you can probably fix the fonts so they are easier to read but definitely stay true to what you love.
