Brought to Los Angeles from New York, the Magnolia bakery offers delicious vintage american desserts in the same style decor. This very quiet bakery is one of my favorite places to enjoy a delicious cupcake break.

Las Vegas By Night
I took another one-day trip to Las Vegas recently and stayed in the wonderful Vdara hotel. From the window of my suite on the 51st floor on one side I could see the famous Fountains of Bellagio, the Eiffel Tower replica of Paris Hotel and a little of Las Vegas Strip.
On the other side I could see pretty much the rest of Las Vegas with shiny and colorful Hotel Rio, where World Series of Poker is currently taking place.
